Embryo transfer (E.T.) is an important tool we are using to propagate superior genetics within our herd. In spring we will flush several cows in time for them to be bred to have a spring calf and therefore they will continue to produce there own calf each year.
We will also freeze enough embryos through the rest of the year to place in our recipient cows next spring here at SHF and at our daughters ranch near Smith Center, Ks. Working with Dr. Clay Breiner at Cross Country Genetics we will continue to flush and freeze these embryos to be transfered next spring.
