This fall and winter we will continue to flushing Donor cows to freeze embryos to put in recipient cows next spring. We prepare the cows here with the FSH and Dr. Kirk Gray arrives to complete the ET procedure.
In the spring we flush several donor cows early enough to transfer these embryos into recipient cows and get the donor cows back into production in our herd. Some of the extra embryos we freeze are put into Brooke and Travis's recipient cows a few weeks later.
It is always exciting to see how these updated genetics translate into our sale bulls each spring.
