We would like to thank all of you who visited our ranch on Monday, August 26th for our annual Producers Meeting. We had a set of cows with bull calves at side as well an a set of cows with heifer calves on display.
We enjoyed a herding demonstration with border collies given by Laura Stimatze from Stimatze Working Cowdogs. She worked a dog on goats just outside of the Customer Center.
The meeting began with Kevin introducing the family and explaining a little bit about our program and why the use of genetic improvement can be so profitable. Speakers were Sandra Levering, Regional Manager for ABS and Tom Jones, from Hy-Plains Feedyard in Montezuma, Ks.
After a question and answer period and drawing for door prizes, the Dinner Bell served a delicious BQ beef dinner.
